High Quality Maps
RouteBuddy features high quality map data, which we license from industry leaders such as Tele Atlas and ML Infomap.
Record Tracks
RouteBuddy can display the current location of your GPS device, and will automatically record a track whenever your device has acquired a satellite fix. This track can be saved to your library, or exported in a variety of file formats.
Transfer Data
RouteBuddy allows you to transfer routes, waypoints, and tracks Between your GPS and your Mac (subject to the capabilities of your GPS device).
Manage Data
RouteBuddy allows you to build a library of geo-data on your Mac, storing many more objects than a typical GPS device. Routes can be created before a journey, and tracks analyzed on your return.
Search Maps
RouteBuddy can search for postal addresses (including zip/postal codes), or for Points of Interest of a given type in a certain location. Your library can also be filtered, to quickly locate an existing object.
Share Data
RouteBuddy can link directly to Google Maps and Google Earth, allowing you to quickly jump from your current location to alternative maps.
